OBSESSION AND THE ARTIST
Art is made, often and over time, by those who become utterly absorbed by an idea or thought.
Everyone has the capacity to make. It is not talent, skill, or knowledge that keeps the artist's focus on their creative path, but obsession. The persistent preoccupation with an experience, a point of view, a person or place that returns in the mind over and over.
Art is a means to immerse and explore that which means most personally.
